About Dr Hanaan Booley

We are very fortunate to welcome Dr Hanaan Booley to our team at The Family Doctor Practice @ 84 Campground Road in Rondebosch.

Dr Hanaan Booley was born and raised in Cape Town. She studied medicine at the University of Stellenbosch and obtained her degree in medicine and surgery in 2018. 

She completed her 2 years of internship and 1 year community service at Khayelitsha District Hospital. She then stayed on at KDH working a further two years as a medical officer in the department of psychiatry. 

Her time in psychiatry also lead her to the local clinics in the Khayelitsha community, providing much needed mental health care at a primary health level.

Upskill:

With a strong background in psychiatry she is passionate about mental health, as much as physical well being, with a strong focus on treating patients with a more holistic approach to health care

Outside: 

Dr Booley lives with her husband, and cat, in Claremont. She enjoys spending time outside with her family and friends, almost as much as she enjoys cuddling with her cat on the couch while settling in for a good movie/series binge.
